POP: WOMAN 1 is an interactive, participatory sound sculpture that communicates current news segments that bring forth commentary and informative subject matter pertaining to issues such as child marriage and female genital mutilation happening in the United States, the Brock Turner case, the support of child molesters in our country's politician's offices and commentary about women from the President of the United States of America.

Inspiration for this piece came from a stained glass window I found at Sarasota Architectural Salvage in Sarasota, FL as part of our SARTQ Re:Purposed Exhibition on August 10, 2018.
