An interdisciplinary work inspired by Cassia Kite’s "Pot Luck Dinner at Longboat Key Center for the Arts" (2015). Artist Kite translates color into a series of notes which New Renaissance Artist, Elizabeth A. Baker used as inspiration to create an original musical composition for the dance piece, "Before the Demolition," choreographed by Kellie Harmon and performed by Helen Hansen French at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg. This work was also featured in the Skyway: A Contemporary Collaboration Exhibition in 2017.

The Schoolhouse Art Gallery Soundstitching was performed by Lilli Summerlin on her violin on June 23, 2017. Summerlin is a local violinst, who was interested in interpreting and arranging a work based on Kite's handwritten translations/scores. Summerlin performed the arrangement inside of the Schoolhouse Art Gallery, making the performance a site-based, site-responsive experience for those in attendance.
